Good Company PNW

go fast alone.go far together.

Pastors and builders, side by side

Good Company PNW · FALL 2026

Good Company equips and supports pastors to stay in the game. We form the business men in their churches into men of character and resource, then bring them together to help lead and finance what God is doing in their local church. Rooted in Christ. Built one coffee and one mile at a time.

Why Good Company exists

the church needs its pastors and its builders in the same room.

Good pastors are burning out alone. Meanwhile the men in their pews who have built businesses and led teams are often too stretched or too disengaged to bring that to the church, even when their pastor asks. We bring them together.

For pastors

stay in the game.

A room of pastors who understand the weight, and friends outside the church who help you think clearly about where it is going.

For business leaders

lead where you stand.

Men who have built something get sharpened by other men who have too, then take that back to their families and their local church.

Together

help lead and finance what God is doing.

Faithful men with the character and the resources to back their pastor and their local church. Iron sharpening iron.

For Pastors

you carry what most of your church never sees.

I spent almost seven years in ministry leadership. I know what it is to pour out every Sunday and go home with nobody asking how you are actually doing.

Good Company hosts free events for pastors. Each one is a facilitated conversation with other pastors who get it, so you leave sharpened instead of just poured out.

I also hear the same thing from a lot of pastors. They are surrounded by faithful people, but few who have led something at scale and can help them think strategically about the church. Many of those men are already in your pews. At the end of each event I ask one thing: who in your church would benefit from a room like this?

If a pastor sent you here

a pastor thought of you.

A pastor you trust thought you would get something out of Good Company. That means something. Here is how it works.

  1. Tell me a little about you.Your name, what you are building, and how to reach you.
  2. I reach out within two days.A real message from me, not an automated sequence.
  3. We meet for coffee, one on one.Free, no pitch. If it fits, I invite you into the community and our monthly meet ups.

The Path

start with a coffee. go deeper as you show up.

Every man starts with a one on one coffee. From there you may be invited into the community and our monthly meet ups. The deeper rooms are for the men who keep showing up.

Good Company Cohorts

five men. one whole community behind them.

A cohort is five men who work on their lives together. You are also part of the larger Good Company mastermind, so you are never in a small room alone.

  • Weekly

    mastermind call

A Zoom with the wider Good Company mastermind. Content from Ed, Good Company leaders, or a guest speaker, and a room of men to think out loud with.

  • Ongoing

    one on one coaching

Private sessions with a Good Company coach to work on the collision between work, marriage, health, finances, and church.

  • Monthly

    adventure day

One local day, 6 to 8 hours, once a month for cohort members. Mix things up, get outside, get some work done, and share good food. Where we go changes with the weather: a short hike, the river with a fly rod, or a day in the woods.

  • Quarterly

    four hour deep dive

All the cohorts together in one room, sometimes with a guest speaker, going deep on your life and your business.

Good Company Adventures

basecamp. two and a half days in the mountains.

Type 2 fun, community, and Jesus. Coaching conversations, physical challenges, rucking on forest roads, and firearms training, all in the woods above Greenwater. An executive chef cooks for the whole camp, so the food is as good as the company. We hold three or four a year, from spring through early fall, and they are open to any man looking for an experience like this.

  • 3 to 4 a year
  • First trial March 2027
  • Ten men, by invitation

Who's behind this

ed holmes

I live in Enumclaw with my wife and son. I coach leaders and teams through Axios Coaching, and before that I spent almost seven years leading in ministry.

I started Good Company because I kept seeing the same two things. Good pastors leaving ministry because they carried it alone, and capable Christian business men in the pews who are overwhelmed or disengaged, even when their pastor asks them to step up. I believe God put both in the same church on purpose. My job is to get them in the same room.
